After establishing the CompTIA Tech National Alumni Advisory Council in January 2021, CompTIA Tech Career Academy is announcing the advisory council’s new leadership.

Jason Hernandez (2016 Twin Cities campus graduate) has been selected as the advisory council chair for the 2021-2022 year. Since graduating from the IT-Ready Technical Support program, Jason has launched a successful career in tech. With experience and additional certifications, he has secured progressively higher roles in the medical device and education sectors.

Joining Jason as the advisory council’s vice-chair is Amanda Myers (2019 Portland campus graduate). Amanda has also added additional certifications, most recently the CompTIA Security+, and has enjoyed a recent promotion as part of her success in the tech field since graduating. 

The CompTIA Tech National Alumni Advisory Council helps keep alumni connected, providing valuable feedback and give back through gifts of time, talent, and resources. Initiatives may include raising awareness of CompTIA Tech for potential students, supporting growth of current students, facilitating connections to employers, and helping promote people’s advancement to the next level in their career through additional training and certifications.
