In 8 weeks, you could be ready to take on a new career in IT. Join the IT-Ready Technical Support class in Edina. Classes are taught online due to the COVID-19 health situation and prepare students for the CompTIA A+ exam, as well as provide connections to employers for job opportunities. Our program is brought to you as part of the Minneapolis/St. Paul TechHire Initiative and in partnership with Wounded Warrior Project.
Spring Session/Term 5: April 13 - June 5, 2020; Applications due March 13
Summer Session/Term 6: June 15 - August 7, 2020; Applications due May 22
Fall Session/Term 2: September 14 - November 6, 2020; Applications due August 14
For preventative measures in response to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, classes for IT-Ready Technical Support have moved to online instruction as of Monday, March 16. Applications for future classes remain open.
On the Twin Cities campus, classes run from 9am - 4pm, Monday-Friday. Students are required to be on time every day; the program allows only one absence and three tardies. Employers expect their staff to be on time, and we expect the same of our students in order to prepare you for your tech career.

What Will You Learn?
In our IT-Ready Technical Support program, you’ll learn technical skills to successfully pass both parts of the CompTIA A+ certification exam, one of the leading industry certification for landing a job on an IT help desk and launching your tech career, according to research firms like Burning Glass. You’ll also receive targeted professional development to refine critical business skills, such as communication, conflict management, teamwork, critical thinking and problem solving.
You’ll be prepared to apply both technical and professional skills starting Day One of your tech job. Plus, you’ll receive interview training, resume reviews and opportunities to meet with employers. Our staff are focused on your success – both in your training and in your future tech job!

We believe tech careers should be accessible to anyone with a dream and passion to pursue them. We offer tuition grants to qualifying students.

Grievance Policy: Every student is encouraged to discuss his or her concerns or complaints with his/her academic advisor or the CompTIA Tech instructor or staff most able to assist the student in resolving the matter. However, the student is not satisfied with the result of these efforts, then the student may pursue a formal grievance by following our grievance policy .
Leave of Absence: Any student who seeks to leave CompTIA Tech before their training is done can request a leave of absence through the LOA form.
